Alida Carcano, CFA, Founding Partner of Valori Asset Management SA boasts over 20 years of experience in the banking sector and in Private Banking at a global level. Before founding Valori, you held prestigious positions at the Credit Suisse Group (where she was also, as Managing Director, Global Head Investment Products Strategy), Lombard Odier & Cie, UBS and Deutsche Bank. Graduated magna cum laude from the Luigi Bocconi commercial university in Milan, Alida perfected her knowledge by obtaining the title of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) in the United States in 1994. Since 1996 he has held numerous positions within the CFA Institute (among other things founding the Italian CFA Society in 1999), up to taking on the position of Governor from 2005 to 2008, and becoming part, starting from 2009, of the “CFA European Investment Conference Advisory Group”. Currently she Alida serves on the Executive Advisory Board of the CFA Institute Education Advisory Committee and is a Mentor of the Executive MBAs programs at Bocconi University. She has a passion for foreign languages and cultures; she is currently studying Chinese.

Dario Micheli, Founding Partner of Valori Asset Management SA, has over 35 years of experience in banking and Private Banking, where he held management positions for some of the largest institutions operating in Italy. Prior to founding Valori, Dario collaborated in the creation of the Private Banking Division for Azimut, while at Credit Suisse Private Banking he was responsible for the Sales Department at the Italian national level for the network of promoters and branches. Previously, Dario was Regional Manager at Banca Fideuram with responsibility for Lombardia, Veneto, and Emilia Romagna for institutional relations officers, after starting his career at Credito Agrario Bresciano and working in every operational area of the bank.

Attorney Dr. iur. Marco Lucheschi obtained his law license in 1998 in Ticino after successfully completing a Ph.D. at the University of Zurich Law School. He worked for more than 16 years for a major Swiss bank in Geneva, Zurich and Lugano, offering specialized legal and tax advice to private banking clients. Since January 2016, he has opened his own law firm based in Lugano. His areas of specialization include Swiss and international taxation for individuals, real estate taxation, taxation of financial instruments and withholding taxes; civil and bond law with a focus on Swiss and international matrimonial and inheritance law with a view to comprehensive financial planning and generational asset transfers. He has also developed considerable experience in “relocation” following all administrative, legal and tax aspects of the transfer of individuals and companies from abroad to Switzerland. Attorney Dr. Lucheschi has been a member of the Board of Trustees of the Credit Suisse Group Pension Fund for more than 14 years and thus also has in-depth knowledge of pension and insurance law. He has taught tax and inheritance law subjects at the Villa Negroni Study Center and at USI. He is fluent in English in addition to national languages.

Michele Di Tuccio has been Risk Manager & Compliance Officer at Valori Asset Management since December 2021. He previously worked for Riverside Europe Partner S.à.r.l. as Risk and Compliance Director. Prior to Riverside, he was Managing Director of Zeus Capital S.A. a Swiss trust company based in Lugano. He also spent three years as Director of Zeus Asset Management S.A., a management company licensed under Chapter 15 of the Law of Dec. 17, 2010, and Director of Risk and Compliance of Zeus Capital Alternative G.P., alternative investment fund managers under the Law of July 12, 2013. He began his career at Unicredit Private Banking in Milan, later at IWBank and Credem. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics of Financial Institutions and Markets from the University of Siena.

At the beginning of his career path (1996) he was involved in head hunting for more than three years as a consultant at PA Consulting Group (now Futurestep-Korn/Ferry Company). In 2000 he joined Credit Suisse Private Banking Italy, first in the role of recruiting specialist dedicated to the development of the distribution network, and then held the position of Sales Manager of the Private Banker network throughout Italy in 2003. Since 2006, as an executive, he worked in the Azimut Group devoting himself to the Wealth Management project of the company and actively collaborated in the establishment and development of the Group’s division dedicated to HNWI customers, in the role of Head of Sales. From 2013 he worked as Network Manager at Valeur Fiduciaria SA (now BG Valeur), becoming a partner in 2016. In November 2016 he joined the Board of Valori Asset Management Luxembourg as Chairman of the Board. As of October 2022, he leaves the Board of Valori Asset Management Luxembourg and is appointed Head of the Italian Branch (Milan) of Valori Asset Management Luxembourg.

After earning an honors degree in economics and a master’s degree in International Finance, Nicola began in Milan at Fideuram Asset Management a path on portfolio management, focusing on Japan and Far East markets. He then gained professional experience within other leading asset management companies in Italy. He then joined Euromobiliare Asset Management where he developed specific skills in equity fund management, becoming senior fund manager and head of equity team. After moving to Switzerland, he took senior positions as head of asset management and investment outlook at an independent asset manager. He was also responsible for several equity funds and launched funds in partnership with leading European institutional players. Nicola moved to Luxembourg in January 2022 to join the Valori Asset Management team where he serves as chief investment officer. Nicola has a passion for new technologies.

Pietro began his career in 2016 at AlbertiniSyz Private Bank in Milan after graduating in Business and Market Economics from Cattolica University. At AlbertiniSyz he has the role of analyst in Fixed Income for a Global Bond Sicav with focus on Investment Grade issuers and with a quantitative approach. Afterwards, he obtains a Master’s degree in Investment and Risk Finance at Westminster Business School (January 2018 – January 2019) with a final grade GPA 4 (Distinction) and through scholarship obtains CFA Level 1. In March 2019, he joins Valori Asset Management as a Junior Portfolio Manager in the bond desk and earns Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) in 2021. In 2022, he obtains the ESG Analysis & Investing certification from Politecnico di Milano.

Paolo has over 12 years of experience in fund management. In 2010 he began his career in BG SGR in the management team, to then gain experience in New York as Analyst in Tandem global partners (Macro Hedge Fund). Subsequently, he held various roles in the management team between 2012 and 2014 in Banca Farmafactoring and in Euromobiliare SGR before arriving in Switzerland in Mangart as Portfolio Manager Assistant. Back in Italy in 2016, he became Bond Manager of Banca Albertini Syz, managing a flexible global sicav, coordinating advisory, treasury and also being a member of the Investment Committee. He joined Valori Asset Management in 2019, he holds the role of Fixed Income Portfolio Manager as head of the bond desk. Graduated with honors in International Economics and Finance at the University of Milan.

Roberto has many years of experience in financial markets. He spent the first part of his career in the Intesa Group as a fixed income trader and manager of the Bank’s proprietary portfolio. He then moved to Geneva joining a Private Bank active in Wealth Management, dealing initially with Capital Markets and later with Asset Allocation and Portfolio Management. In 2012, he started an Advisory company in Fund Management dealing with fixed income and equity markets and helped launch and develop a Luxembourg Sicav with active investment compartments in fixed income and equities. He joined Valori in 2023 in the role of senior portfolio manager. He holds an honors degree in Business Administration – Corporate Finance from Bocconi University in Milan.

Roberto holds a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Corporate Finance from Bocconi University in Milan. He has more than 20 years of experience in mutual funds. He spent the first part of his career in Milan at Kedrios Spa gruppo Sia (now Xchanging Italy) as a back-office specialist in harmonized mutual funds and hedge funds. In 2006, he moved to Mendrisio, Switzerland, joining Pharus Asset Management Sa, an asset manager under Swiss law, first as Head of back-office and later as Risk Manager & Nav Control. During his career, he acquired extensive knowledge in the areas of Investment Compliance/Restrictions and fund administration. He participated in the launch of new Sicav sub-funds and various projects cooperating with Management Companies, Central Administrators, Custodian Banks and software-houses. He joins Valori Asset Management Sa in September 2023 with the role of Operations Manager.

Frederic Moeremans joined Values Asset Management in October 2023. He began his career with Merril Lynch in 1994 as a financial advisor. Two years later, he was involved from day one in the creation of the BNP branch in Lugano. Later, Frederic joined Crédit Lyonnais becoming a member of the board of directors, with additional responsibility for portfolio management. In 2005 he began his career as institutional sales, representing in Europe many U.S. brokers such as Suntrust, Morgan Keegan, Sterne Agee, and Wedbush Securities. Frederic holds a degree in Political Science from the University of Milan. During his career, he completed several training courses in financial trading and qualified as a branch coordinator in U.S. equities and portfolio manager. Of Belgian origin, he speaks Italian, English, and French.

Luigi received a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Management of Financial Institutions from Bocconi University, where he went on to earn a degree in Economics and Finance. After a brief experience at a Merchant and Investment banking boutique, he started his professional activity in the banking sector in the Capital Management team within the Finance of Banco Popolare Group, where he was in charge of structuring bank capital optimization transactions. He then worked at Syz Asset Management as a credit analyst in the management team of two bond funds focused on investments in subordinated debt instruments. He then worked in Equita SIM’s research team as an equity and fixed income analyst with coverage on listed securities.
